Large Sculpture Art nouveau bronze Mary with veilcover - signed

This is an excellent and aesthetic large Art Nouveau bronze sculpture. It displays the head of a woman, whos face is covered with a thin veil and is making a seductive impression on the observer. The young attractive woman wears a flower chaplet on her head, that sets the vail on its position. The scene reminds the viewer of the Virgin Mary and is worked very filigree and naturally, making the folds of her vail seem very realistic. The large bronze sculpture is set on a special shaped marble plinth and is made of 100% bronze.

As all of the bronze products in our shop, this exhibit is hand-casted in our own foundry and subject to our strict quality inspections throughout the entire process of fabrication. All of our sculptures are exclusively compounded with the help of lost-wax casting.

All of our sculptures are also suited for the laying-out in a garden area, where they gain a typical patina, due to the weather, after some time.

The artist Miguel Fernando Lopez was born in 1955 in Lisbon and is well known as Milo - the great sculptor from Portugal. He studied arts and sculpture in Lisbon at the university, where he also met his wife. He focused early on the work of Modern Art, great nude sculptures and lovely animal sculptures. Milo is working as a freelance artist all over Europe and we are proud that he works as a close partner with our foundry. Milo still lives in a lovely little suburb of Lisbon.
