Art Deco - Bronze Vase Putto Carrier 2 colours on Marblebase

Pictured is an outstanding Art Deco Bronze Vase carried by putto. This very impressive showpiece is now available in a stunning bronze-cast, useful as a vase and an absolute must-have equipment for well-looked ambience. The sculpture is placed on a beautiful round brown marble-base, made of finest bronze cast in museum quality. In comparison with the original, this object is as filigree as possible and the bronze figurine is an amazing eye-catcher in every exhibition.

Like all of the bronze products in our shop, this exhibit is hand-cast in our own foundry and subject to our strict quality inspections throughout the entire process of fabrication. All of our sculptures are exclusively compounded with the help of lost-wax casting.

The term putto is Italian and is the description for small figures. Those always naked figures are mostly arranged with small wings. There origin is the Italian Renaissance but they were also used in Baroque art for decoration. Imagines of those little creatures can be found in religious art but also in the 20th century, like at the movie Fantasia of Walt Disney.
