Fancy bronze figurine Sitting Faunus - Satyr signed Milo

This beautiful Art Nouveau bronze was created by the famous artist Milo and shows a sitting faunus, also named satyr. He sits on a small dome and looks curiously to the side. The human and animal parts of his body are shaped naturally with great detai, for example his goat legs or his pointed ears and his small horns. The mythic figure consists of 100 % bronze and is signed by the Art Nouveau artist Milo.

The famous Portuguese artist and sculptor Miguel Fernando Lopez, well-known as Milo, was born in Lisbon in 1955. The artist studied at the university of Lisbon and is focused on Modern Art and  animal- and nude sculptures. He is a freelance artist and works throughout Europe aswell as close cooperation with our foundry.
