Perfect Art Nouveau Bronze Statue - The Leapfrog - signed

This is a really unique Art Nouveau bronze figure. The German artist Wilhelm Haverkamp created this wonderful bronze figure in 1891. It's called "The Leapfrog" and allegorises a satyr jumping over a buck-legged faunus. The two mystic figures seem joyful and happy playing together. The bronze sculpture is made with much detail and looks as natural as possible. The scene is set on a round shaped marble plinth, that gives the sculpture a good solidity. The very cute Art Nouveau figure is made of 100% bronze and dark polished marble and contains the signature on the ground.

As all of the bronze products in our shop, this exhibit is hand-cast in our own foundry and subject to our strict quality inspections throughout the entire process of fabrication. All of our sculptures are exclusively compounded with the help of lost-wax casting.
