This is a great animal bronze sculpture of a big lion fighting against a snake. The motive is a huge impressive bronze sculpture on a marble-base. It is the fight of two very different animals, a lion and a snake, against each other. The detailed and filigree designed sculpture was made after the idea of the great sculptor A. Barye and is mounted on a solid and stylish marble-base. We used finest material for this bronze cast and produced it in our own foundry. The sculpture is a great piece of art and is signed by the artist A. Bayre.
As all of the bronze products in our shop, this exhibit is hand-cast in our own foundry and subject to our strict quality inspections throughout the entire process of fabrication. All of our sculptures are exclusively compounded with the help of lost-wax casting.

The big Lion fighting against a snake is a piece of work of the French sculptor Antoine- Louis Barye, who was born in France in 1795. Barye was a sculptor, who became famous for his animal sculptures. The original of this bronze sculpture is exhibited at the Louvre in Paris, France. The great animalier Antoine-Louis Barye died in 1875. The lion is one of the natural enemies of the snake as the lion has no natural enemies and is known as the king of the jungle. Lions live in Africa where as snakes live in almost every part of the world. Both are carnivores, although snakes swallow their prey, lions rip and break their prey with their teeth.
