This is a great uncommon bronze bust after Umberto Boccioni with the title "Antigraceful". Even the name is "Antigraceful", the bust is very graceful. The combination of different shapes makes this art object very special and an eye- catcher on every art collection. This great piece of art is made of 100% bronze and many details make this sculpture special. Umberto Boccioni once created the sculpture in 1913 and our foundry re-casted his sculpture in an amazing agreement to the original.
As all of the bronze products in our shop, this exhibit is hand-cast in our own foundry and subject to our strict quality inspections throughout the entire process of fabrication. All of our sculptures are exclusively compounded with the help of lost-wax casting.
Umberto Boccioni was born in Italy in 1882. The young Boccioni studied in Rome and in Paris and his work was influenced by Cubism. The Italian painter and sculptor was a member of the futuristic movement and in 1912 he published the "Manifest of the Futuristic Plastics". Boccioni died early in 1916 in Verona. A picture of his sculpture "Unique Forms of Continuity in Space" illustrates the Italian 20-cent.
