"Hommage to Edvard Munch - The Scream - casted in bronze"
Weight | 7 kg |
The artist Edvard Munch is known as a pioneer of Expressionism and of modern painting. The sculpture "The Scream" is homage to one of his most popular paintings also named "The Scream" and painted in 1893. We casted the famous artwork of E. Munch in bronze and we used best quality to produce this cast. The three-dimensional artwork has a very abstract surface with many abstract channels. The sculpture seems like the painting of Munch got alive. The figure is impressive and stunning and a real extraordinary piece of art. The skinny greenish coloured bronze is affixed on a dark marble-base and the signature of Munch is added on.
As all of the bronze products in our shop, this exhibit is hand-cast in our own foundry and subject to our strict quality inspections throughout the entire process of fabrication. All of our sculptures are exclusively compounded with the help of lost-wax casting.
