Product description
"Amazing large bronze sculpture angel - Paix - from Jules Coutan"
Weight | 27,7 kg |
This is a special beautiful large Art Nouveau sculpture of Jules Félix Coutan, called "Paix". It shows bronze winged female figure holding a sword. It allegorizes the power and strength of peace in an athletic young woman. Although this sculpture is large, it is worked filigree and in detail. For example the feathers of her wings or the folds of her clothes seem very natural and realistic. The impressive figure is set on a dark polished marble base. The Art Nouveau piece of art is made of 100% bronze and dark marble and is signed by its creator Coutan at the bottom.
