Modern Art Bronze - Chubby Female Dancer - signed Milo

"Chubby Female Dancer" is the title of this Modern Art sculpture, that was created by Milo and his great imaginativeness. The handmade sculpture, which consists of 100% bronze, shows an anonymous, abstract and corpulent female dancer, who draws attention to herself, showing elegantly her voluminous body. The proportions of the nude sculpture remind of the works of Rubens and stress the beauty of a corpulent body in an aesthetic way. The sportive dance style of the female dancer reminds of the perfect acrobatic skills of a gymnast. Elegantly the chubby dancer balances on one foot, stretching her left leg backwards. Milo made with this impressive bronze figure a symbol of anonymous beauty. It is set on a square shaped plinth of dark marble and consists of 100% finest bronze. The "Chubby Female Dancer" is signed by Milo at the small bronze plate, on which the dancer stands.

As all of the bronze products in our shop, this exhibit is hand-cast in our own foundry and subject to our strict quality inspections throughout the entire process of fabrication. All of our sculptures are exclusively compounded with the help of lost-wax casting.

Miguel Fernando Lopez, better known as the artist Milo, is the creator of this beautiful Modern Art sculpture named “Chubby Female Dancer”. Milo is a Portuguese freelance artist and sculptor, who is known international and works throughout Europe. He was born on June 12, 1955 in Lisbon, the capital city of Portugal. He turned his passion for art into a profession and studied at the University of Lisbon sculpture and art. Already during his studies his extraordinary talent awoke and he graduated as the best student in his year. He also made sculptures of Modern Art, nude and animal figures while he attended university. He could sell some of his early works, even when he was a student. After he successfully finished his education, he became a productive freelance artist. Today the name Milo is a synonym for extraordinary, impressive and attractive sculptures and figures, which are made by the artist’s great talent, creativity and imaginativeness. He filigree and in detail creates them with love and passion. We are very lucky, that Milo is been working for our foundry since many years, making a high amount of quality animal, nude and Modern Art figures and sculptures.
