Abstract Animal Sculpture - Horse - Homage to S. Dali, signed

This very abstract animal sculpture is the image of a horse created as homage to the great Surrealism artist Salvador Dali (* May 11, 1904 in Figueres, Catalonia; † January 23, 1989 ibidem). The sculpture of the abstract horse that is looking very surreal and breakable seems to walk slowly in another space. This sculpture was created by using finest bronze and solid marble for the pedestal. It is a signed modern art bronze sculpture with filigree and fine designed details and even though it is very abstract, the anatomy of the horse is still visible. This fancy and extraordinary modern art exhibit was affixed on a solid marble base and created as homage to S. Dali.

As all of the bronze products in our shop, this exhibit is hand-cast in our own foundry and subject to our strict quality inspections throughout the entire process of fabrication. All of our sculptures are exclusively compounded with the help of lost-wax casting.

Salvador Dali was one of the most important and best known artists of the Surrealism and a great and famous painter. Furthermore Dali was working as sculptor, poet, graphic designer, stage designer and – like already mentioned – as one of the most important painters of the whole 20^th century. Dali found his extraordinary style around the year 1929 and became famous for his surreal burning giraffes and his surreal designed melting watches. His most favourite subject was the world of the dreams and the subconscious; therefore he became famous as well as an often discussed artist. Salvador Dali died on January 23, 1989 at his birthplace Figueres where he also got buried inside the crypt of his own theatre.
