"Modern Art Figure - Asleep - Homage to Salvador Dali, signed"
Weight | 5,1 kg |
“Asleep” is a very attractive modern art sculpture that was created as a homage to the great Surrealism artist Salvador Dali (* May 11, 1904 in Figueres, Catalonia; † January 23 1989 ibidem). This modern sculpture named “Asleep” is a high quality bronze product that pictures a sleeping man. The exhibit is designed very abstract and like a mask. The artist who created this lovely homage on a modern art figure did a great job by reducing the shapes of the sculpture and by focusing on the facial expression of the figure. Furthermore the hand, which is used like a pillow, was designed in the same natural way like the face. The minimalist design of “Asleep” as well as the fancy material – 100% finest bronze – makes this sculpture being a high quality product. A small pole made of bronze connects the sculpture with the simple designed pedestal made of marble.
As all of the bronze products in our shop, this exhibit is hand-cast in our own foundry and subject to our strict quality inspections throughout the entire process of fabrication. All of our sculptures are exclusively compounded with the help of lost-wax casting.
