The Spanish artist Salvador Dali was a famous and well known eccentric human as well as one of the best known painters of the 20^th century and a main presenter of the Surrealism, a movement in literature as well as in art. The Surrealism was founded in Paris around the 1920^th and was known as a subsequent movement of the Dadaism. Surreal and unreal art is characterized by unreal themes; Dali used burning giraffes and melting watches to create his surreal artwork. Dali was born on May 11, 1904 in Figueres, Catalonia and became one of the most important surrealistic artists ever. He developed his unmistakably style in 1929 and became very famous with it. Salvador Dali died on January 23, 1989 at his birthplace in Catalonia.
