Small Male Nude Bronze - Boy with Catapult - signed Milo

Milo created this bronze sculpture “Boy with Catapult” after an ancient model. The slim body of the naked boy stretches upwards while he is holding a catapult in his right hand. The 100% bronze sculpture carries the signature of Milo, a delighting message for every art-lover. The boy is touching his left breast, this is the personal interpretation of Milo. He also has the right foot before the left one making it clear that he is seeking an objective. The bronze sculpture is fixed on a marble base giving the sculpture a higher importance.

The bronze sculpture is done in the process of lost-wax casting. The objects are made in hand-work and this process happens under strict quality instructions.

The artist and sculptor Milo, full name Miguel Fernando Lopez, is attending to the creation of nude sculptures, animal figures and objects of modern art. He was born on July 12, 1955 in the capital city of Portugal, Lisbon. Now he lives in a small suburb of Lisbon. Milo is the son of an art dealer, that is also the reason for his interest in art and later  attending the university of Lisbon studying visual art. He is married and has three children, his oldest son also works in the field of art.
