Vienna Bronze - Lovers - with Bergmann Stamp

This bronze figure reminds some people of past times, concrete: of the first love from the early days. The love statue depicts a young pair of lovers, with the young man carrying his girl on his shoulders. The love creating characters are a symbol for true luck and love.  The founder of the famous bronze production in Vienna, Franz Bergmann, arrived in Jablonec on the 26th September 1838 to the world. At a young age he came to Vienna and learnt the processing of bronze. 1860 Franz Bergmann completed his master's examination for chaser. He met the Bronze Art of France when he visited the World Exhibition in Paris in 1884, there he learnt to know the art of nature patina. The creation of the bronze foundry was a great success. The animal figures and erotic bronzes are now very popular as collectors pieces.
