Naked child on business cards shell - Vienna Bronze, Bergmann

Vienna bronzes are famous and distinguished by their naturalistic and detailed representation of human figures. The "nudie" on the left is holding an envelope in his hand and looking thoughtfully skywards. The figure itself is mounted on a versatile marble bowl, in which business cards, notes, paper clips, and much more can be stored or can even be used as a noble ashtray. The sculpture is hallmarked with the stamp of the Bergmann foundry.

Our hand-made products are produced from only the highest quality materials. The attractive statue is made entirely from bronze and fabricated by using the so-called lost wax method and high quality is our specialist subject.

The famous Vienna bronzes were made in the Austrian capital Vienna. The most well-known producer of painted miniatures is the Bergmann foundry, which was first established 1884 in Vienna by Franz Bergmann. At the beginning of the 20th Century there were 80 different bronze foundries in Vienna.
