Animal Bronze figure - Swan Couple - signed by Milo

This bronze figure is a creation by the Portuguese artist Miguel Fernando Lopez, in short: Milo. The facing “Swan Couple” looks especially authentic due to the detailed plumage with the sculpture positioned on a marble base and signed with "Milo". The "Swan Couple" are floating on a see of bronze and are symbolizing love, purity and faithfulness. In fact, swans choose with approximatly two years of age a partner for their life and start with the courtship in the winter months every year. After the death of one of the partners, they often have problems finding a new lover. 

As all of the bronze products in our shop, this exhibit is hand-cast in our own foundry and subject to our strict quality inspections throughout the entire process of fabrication. All of our sculptures are exclusively compounded with the help of lost-wax casting.

The Portuguese artist Milo is specialized in the production of modern nude and animal sculptures. After studying Fine Arts, he gradually established himself as a national and European level and interacting known sculptor. With his wife and his son Pablo, also practicing art, he lives and works in a suburb of Lisbon.
