Blindman's Buff - Acrylic on Canvas - Martin Klein

Why Martin Klein has called this acrylic painting “blindman’s cow” remains a mystery of the artist. It can clearly be seen a colourful cow in front of a richly coloured background. The title of the painting is reminiscent of a children’s game. Blind man's buff or blind man's bluff is a children's game, a variant of tag. The traditional name of the game is "blind man's buff", wherein the word buff is used in its older sense of a small push. The game later also became known as "blind man's bluff"; it is possible that this name is a linguistic corruption.

Martin Klein (* 1979 in Bischofswerda, Germany) is a young passionate artist from Saxony. He studied art and works as a successful painter and sculptor. His repertoire is broad and varied, ranging from abstract oil paintings to modern sculptures with humorous and sometimes erotic motifs. His work has been presented in a number of regional and national exhibitions. Among lovers of modern sculptures Klein was a distinctive artist.
