Our modern fiberglass sculptures were produced in a complex manufacturing process. Fiberglass (or fibreglass) is a fiber reinforced polymer made of a plastic matrix reinforced by fine fibers of glass. Fiberglass is a lightweight, extremely strong and robust material, and is used for many products. Although its strength properties are somewhat lower than carbon fiber and it is less stiff, fiberglass is typically far less brittle, and its raw materials much less expensive. Its bulk strength and weight properties are also very favorable when compared to metals, and it can be easily formed using molding processes. Martin Klein (born 1979 in Bischofswerda, Germany) is a German painter and sculptor who studied after successfully completing his business degree art studies at the Academy of Fine Arts in Dresden. From then on he worked in an art gallery, to finance his second degree. In that art gallery, he presented his first works. His exhibition was a success; in particular its modern sculptures evoked substantial interest. The first exhibition in that art gallery was followed by two traveling exhibitions.
