Product description
In popular usage, the term "imagination" refers to the faculty or action of forming new ideas, or images or concepts of external objects not present to the senses. Epistemologically, the term describes the ability of the mind to visualize things that are located beyond oneself. Martin Klein has attempted to visualize the phenomenon of imagination. The result is the acrylic painting on the left called “Imagination”. Strictly speaking, the imagination cannot capture in a picture and the result of each experiment to do that can only be a product of the imagination, but not the imagination itself. The work is signed at the lower right of the screen with the name of the artist.
All of our pictures are hand-painted acrylic paintings or oil paintings and were produced in limited numbers. Each is signed by the artist Martin Klein.
Martin Klein (born 1979) is a native of Bischofswerda who now lives and works in Dresden. The German painter and sculptor presented his works in some regional and Germany-wide exhibitions. After graduation in 1998, he moved to Berlin to study business administration. In 2005 he went to the Academy of Fine Arts in Dresden. Klein's various techniques and ingenious approaches to the design of the surface of his sculptures give them a distinctive character. The artist works with different materials. In addition to bronze sculptures he also manufactures modern fiberglass sculptures. He draws inspiration not least of cartoon drawings, pop art, cubism, abstract and modern art, and the artistic tradition of China, which he reinterpreted in intense colors.
