French Bulldog / Bully - Bronze Statue - signed by Milo

The adjoining animal sculpture is a cute home accessory for animal lovers and art lovers. It was created by the Portuguese artist Milo. The French bulldog - also called Bully - touches with its large ears and eyes, the heart of every viewer. Characteristic features are the massive, crumpled-looking head, bat ears and short fur. The French bulldog is muscular, agile and wiry. The local copy is mounted on a black marble base and bears the signature by the artist.

All of our products are manufactured to the highest standards. Like all of our products this one is made in the lost wax method. Lost-wax casting is a complex process using wax models. The sculpture is made of 100 percent finest bronze.

The artist Milo, with full name Miguel Fernando Lopez, was born on July 12, 1955 in Lisbon. He was always surrounded by art. His father worked as art dealer. Milo attended the University of Lisbon to study the fine arts. In 1976 he went to Italy for his semester abroad.  He got a lot of artistic impressions in Venice and Rome, which influenced his later work. After his year in Italy he began to sell his sculptures, though his big success started only after he finished university. Today Milo lives in a suburb of Lisbon, Portugal.
