Proud Peacock on Marble - Gilded with Gold Leaf - Bronze

The adjoining animal figure was designed by the Portuguese artist Milo. The name of the figure is "Proud Peacock on Marble". The peacock is gilded with gold leaf in its full length. The graceful and proud bird is mounted on a tall marble column that rises from a marble base. The plumage of the bird is worked out in detail. For art lovers, gold leaf lovers and bird lovers, this sculpture is a fine gift. The sculpture bears the signature by the artist.

Milo is a Portuguese-born sculptor, who achieved great fame with its distinctive animal sculptures and erotic plastics. Milo completed his studies of art, ever since then he worked as a freelance artist. With his wife and his son Pablo, also a promising artist of undoubted talent, he lives and works in a suburb of the Portuguese capital Lisbon.
