Product description
This oil painting was created by the Saxon artist Martin Klein and depicts the famous Brooklyn Bridge in New York. The Brooklyn Bridge is a suspension bridge built in 1883, connecting Manhattan and Brooklyn. The modernity of the Brooklyn Bridge has always fascinated artists from all over the world and so it was very often represented by various artists. The Brooklyn Bridge is the oldest bridge in the United States and with 1825 meters one of the longest suspension bridges in the country. The adjoining artwork forms the Brooklyn Bridge in abstract form; at the bottom right of the painting it is signed with "M. Klein".
All of our paintings are hand-made acrylic paintings or oil paintings and were produced in limited numbers. Each is signed by the artist Martin Klein. Because each painting is a hand made single item, small deviations to the painting on the left are possible at delivery.
Martin Klein (born 1979) is a native of Bischofswerda who now lives and works in Dresden. The German painter and sculptor presented his works in some regional and Germany-wide exhibitions. After graduation in 1998, he moved to Berlin to study business administration. In 2005 he went to the Academy of Fine Arts in Dresden. Its various acrylic mixing and filling techniques give his paintings a distinctive character. The artist works with different materials. In addition to bronze sculptures he also manufactures modern fiberglass sculptures. He draws inspiration not least of cartoon drawings, pop art, cubism, abstract and modern art, and the artistic tradition of China, which he reinterpreted with intense colors.
