The artist Edward Francis McCartan was born on 16th August 1879 in Albany. He died on 20th September 1947 in the US. The American sculptor created numerous sculptures. He was heavily influenced by mythology and the art of the Antiquity. The studied artist also produced very authentic statuary art. Edward Francis McCartan studied in New York, where he attended the art school "Art Students League". In Paris, he learned from the French sculptor Jean Antoine Injalber. Thus, he was a significant pioneer of contemporary art in the United States during the 1920s.
