General Guan Yu - Opulent Bronze Statue - Samurai Sculpture - Signed Milo

He is one of the most famous personalities of East Asian history – the Chinese General Guān Yǔ. Just like in the past, he is still revered today for his loyalty, courage and righteousness. His life and work have been the motif in many fields of art. For his version of this opulent statue of Guān Yǔ, the artist Milo was inspired by the numerous myths and stories about the legendary Chinese general and used them to create an impressive bronze statue. The detailed applications on the armour and weapon perfectly compliment the authenticity of the materials that were used by Milo, which were partially painted by hand. This way, Milo managed to breathe life into this powerful statue. Its green patina and the various polishings of the bronze material highlight this historic bronze statue.
