This great large Art Nouveau bronze shows a nude lady, sitting on a buffalo bull.  It unites human and animal symbols to one whole piece of art. The attractive young nude female signifies beauty and innocence, whereas the wild buffalo bull stands for the power and strength of the untamed nature. This enchanting bronze scene is worked in detail, so especially the body of the animal seems very realistic and the horns are sharpened and dangerous. The impressive Art Nouveau bronze is set on a polished marble base. This gorgeous piece of art is made of 100% bronze and marble and is signed by its creator Albert Hussmann.

Not much is known about Albert Heinrich Hussmann, the artist who created this magnificent Art Nouveau sculpture. He was born on March 3, 1874 and died in 1946 in Berlin, Germany.  Albert Hussmann attended the Academy of Arts in Berlin and people all over the world recognize him for his animal sculptures. Albert Hussmann always incorporates a deep symbolism in his works, what can be seen in this extraordinary sculpture.
